Submitting Proposals for Environmental Initiatives

Submit your proposal for an environmental initiative

Hebrew University’s Green Council advances existing environmental initiatives and helps develop and implement new green initiatives. 

Proposal guidelines:

- All university staff and students are eligible to submit proposals.

- Proposed initiatives must be in one of the following fields: Environmental conservation, sustainability, educating for sustainability, behavior change, promoting environmentally-responsible behavior.

- Initiatives can be activities, collaborations, training sessions, environmental apps, smart transportation promotions, energy-saving ideas, etc. 

- Existing projects that require funding to continue operating are valid submissions.

- The Green Council may invest a budget and resources for suitable initiatives.

- Hebrew University has the right to implement the proposed project or part of it. 

 

The Green Council evaluates suggested initiatives according to the following parameters:

- Contribution to the environment and sustainability.

- Degree to which the university community will be involved.

- Ability of those proposing the initiative to develop and implement it.
