Shuttle Services

 

The university operates free shuttle services throughout each semester. A valid Hebrew University student ID, alumnus card, or staff ID is required in order to use the shuttle service.

Routes: 

Schedules and bus routes are available on the Moovit app. Real time bus arrival information can be found by calling 02-6769111. Note that the shuttle runs on a fixed schedule without any additional stops.

During the summer vacation, Christmas Day, and Hanukkah, when there are no classes, shuttle services run Sun-Thu:
  • 7:30 – Café Aroma via the Student Village
  • 8:00 – Pick-up from Safra Campus dorms (Givat Ram) to Ein Kerem
  • 17:30 – Ein Kerem (Student Center) – Safra Campus dorms (Givat Ram) – Student Village – Café Aroma

 

Kiryat Yovel Dorms – Ein Kerem

Free shuttle service – Line 72: from the bus stop at the Stern-Uruguay dorms, via the bus stop at the Kiryat Yovel commercial center on the Ein Kerem campus. Schedule: 

  • Sun: 9:40
  • Mon-Thu: 7:35

Back from Ein Kerem (bus stop in front of the Student Center) to the Student Village via Kiryat Yovel commercial center and Safra Campus:

  • Sun-Wed: 15:15, 17:15, 18:15
  • Thu: 17:15

 

Aroma-Student Village-Ein Kerem

Free shuttle service – Bus 71: Café Aroma on Mount Scopus via Student Village dorms and then to the Ein Kerem campus. 

Café Aroma – Student Village schedule: 

  • Sun: 9:10, 9:15
  • Mon-Thu: 7:05, 9:00

Back from Ein Kerem (bus stop in front of the Student Center) to the Student Village via Kiryat Yovel commercial center and Safra Campus:

  • Sun-Wed: 15:15, 17:15, 18:15
  • Thu: 17:15

 

Rehovot-Beit Dagan

The shuttle runs only when the university is in session.

 

Light Rail

Light rail tracks are being built on all three Jerusalem campuses of Hebrew University – Mount Scopus, Givat Ram and Ein Kerem. The construction is part of the municipal transportation plan and is funded by the Ministry of Transportation. Once the light rail lines will begin operating, the three campuses will be connected by public transportation. 

The following stations are planned for the campuses and dorms:

  • Mount Scopus: stops in the tunnel, Reznick dorms, Student Village.
  • Safra (Givat Ram): two stops on the campus.
  • Ein Kerem: stop at the entrance to the campus.

At the Safra and Ein Kerem campuses, bus route modifications are not expected while the light rail construction is in progress. At the Mount Scopus campus, the bus routes have changed.

 

Bicycle Parking Spaces
