Parenting at Hebrew University
Being a student and a parent at the same time is challenging and we are here to help! Every campus is equipped with a daycare center, nursery rooms, baby changing facilities, and more.
If you have questions about your rights or if you have problems or requests, please contact the Parenting Coordinator on 02-5881833.
Daycare Centers
The Hebrew University Dean of Students Office operates daycare centers at the Mount Scopus, Edmond J. Safra (Givat Ram) and Rehovot campuses. The daycare centers are intended for two-ten-month-old babies, for the duration of the academic year. Daycare staff pamper each baby personally and each caregiver attends up to five babies. Parents are free to nurse their babies at any time at the daycare centers.
You can enroll your child for daycare on specific days (e.g., every Monday and Wednesday during the 1st semester) or on a one-time basis at a day's notice.
